mr2 turbo bov

have a few small probs with my turbo but one thing thats puzzleing me is that the car seems to have two dump valves why would that be surely that cant be right i have posted a link to the picture of the engine bay the black stock one is to the right of the engine bay and the baileys blue one is to the left the other issues i am having is as follows
took my 2 for a drive to day first time in a week and around 3000rpm it would start to shudder so checked error codes and got code 24 and code 51 so reset ecu took it for a drive and running perfect again then i checked ecu again and showing no codes but what i did notice in the engine bay was that the rubber pipe coming from the oxygen o2 sensor had broke due to it melting with the heat and also a rubber pipe coming out of the vacum modulator had broken due to been meltded as well and also seemed to be a loose blue rubber pipe under the intercooler at the back of the bay that didnt seemed to be attached to anything just hanging loose so presume this would have been the cause of car to judder at 3000 rpm but why did prob stop after i reset ecu although i did only drive it about 4 miles after the reset?
where does the pipe coming out of the modulator go to its the pipe at the back of the modulator the one facing towards the window?

when i say the modulator i mean the stock bov

any help appreciated

Looks like you have 2 BOV's. Are they both connected/working?

And the hose fron the intercooler area is a vent hose for the fan motor.. It just hangs here open ended.
Ar far as the frayed hose. I can't tell. Where does it come from?

Also theres a sticky telling how to post pics.

If your talking about the wastegate actuator, the tube that points towards the window goes to the nipple on the compressor housing .

If the stock one is connected, then it may be working . If so, the Baileys will be getting only half the pressure, making it barely audible. You only need one BOV. 2 is over kill. Remove one and plug the hole. Oh, and I posted your pics for you.
