Canada MR2 blow out valve?

I wanted to know if it's possible to put a blowout valve in a 94 mr2 turbo i heard you cant do it cuz the MAP won't read accurately any more any info ?

Yes it's possible and quite common to use BOV's in all USDM MR2 turbos.

remember you can get a BOV but you must recirculate the dump tube back to the intake pipe.

Diosesmijuez has a '94 with a MAP sensor so he doesn't have to worry about recirculating it. He won't have any problems with running rich between shifts (I assume this is what was meant by the MAP not reading correctly -- that only occurs with AFM based cars).

There's another BOV thread that started yesterday that I've posted more info on.

Last pedantic note, it's a "blow off valve", not a "blow out valve".
