TURBO experts plz!!!

im kinda making my own turbo kit for a 91 MR2 3sgte here but now i need help finding the parts anyway so far i got myself the turbo GT4088 ,suspenssion K-sport , Greedy inercooler, Sard injectors,edelbrock fuelrail,etc... but i cant find the manifold to fit my car for some reason its the last thing i need to fully have my lil 3sgt3 on steroids running...lol... its a T4 flange by the way..... other than that my engine is just waiting their its been fully rebuilt by the way just in case someone wants to call me an idiot and tell me ima blow my engine.... so plz help me find a manifold....

my concern would not only be trying to find a manifold that works but one that also allows that turbo to fit. Because to my knowledge the gt40 is a prett decent size and the mr2 engine bay....not so much, haha

I know KORacing sells a GT35R kit so that may work for you. Also i think AutoLab may sell one.

thank god finally a decent responce lol... thanks alot bro and yeah i know what you mean about the tight squeeze in the bay... but when the guys at garrett laughed at what car i was gonna put it in made me wanna do it just to show them...lol.. but thanx bro

well i have seen some pretty damn big turbo's put in these cars. Most of them end up doing a custom Top mount setup though. And i know there are some that have run the 42R. So it definetly is doable. I know of 2 guys around me right now that are running a Holset HX-35 with a top mount manifold.

And there are even people who have run a T70.

Your best bet is probably to have one custom made. As far as I know there aren't any companies still producing top mount turbo kits.... and the ones that did were made for 3rd gens.

for this type of turbo and setup your looking at doing your gonna find that there is alot of custom stuff that needs to be done. Like the IC because you will need a TMIC
