Fuel Injectors 87 MR2

Just replaced the head gasket and now I seem to have 2 injectors not working. They may have been contaminated (dirt) while out of the car. Maybe broken wire in the loom. I'm going to check for risistance but does anyone have any ideas for a fix or further checks.

If you apply voltage to the injector, they should click. I just tested this by touching the leads from a 12 VDC power source to the plug of a 5SFE injector I had sitting around. There is a noticeable "click" when it fires.

How have you diagnosed that two injectors aren't working?

Hi Ghosty, I've had it all apart, pistons out, replaced head gasket. Put it back yogether and it is missing.
Pulled #3 plug wire and no change. Spark and plug is good. Besides the injector wasnt ticking. Switched the injector with #1 then #1 and #3 wasnt working but like an ass I never checked #1 at the time I was messing with #3. Anyway the wiring harness is a bit brital and was bent out the way to be the head off. The injector plugs are a bit iffy. I just put power to a injector and it clicks like you said. Checked the risistance and thats good. cleaned the conector on #1 and held is on and it fires. Now I'm going to mess with #3.
