Some pics of my car

I just got my car back after 5 months of paint and body work (well, 5 months with the painter... it probably didn't actually take 5 months of actual work.)

Anyway, here it is... my 1991 MR2 Turbo. Resprayed with the stock color, Nautical Blue Metallic (code 8H3).

From this:

To this:

For reference, the stance (which I think looks good) is achieved via H&R springs, Tokico rear struts, stock front struts, 17" Konig Rhythm wheels, approximately stock sized tires.

I'm just excited to be driving it again and being out of my AE92 (no offense to the gen6 Corolla forum guys, I still love ya.) Any comments are welcome...

- Ghosty (also bought a $260 Isuzu the other day just for spits and giggles)

(EDIT: those are cell phone pics. It looks shinier in person)

Nice Ben. Those are cell phone pics? Looks good regardless-shiney! I'm liking the rims too.
I think the Nautical Blue and the Green(aquamarine green?) have got to be the rarest colors. I love both of those colors BTW. hehe
Any shots of the engine bay?

Thanks, I like the rims too. I've also got a set of 16"s ADR GT-Sports I'm going to try out on there in a bit.

Engine bay before it was painted (nothing fancy):

I've got a batch of engine parts to go on soon and then I'm going to concentrate on building my spare 3SGTE with a T3/4 50 trim turbo. Well, I'll probably do a methanol injection beforehand just to raise the octane.

Beatiful car. I love that color.

They are blocked off but my guess is possible Methanol injection ports? But those are far to large for simple meth injection ports. So im with you....what are those for? haha

Those are injector locations for secondary fuel injectors. That's an old-school GReddy cold pipe, the newer ones don't have those bungs because GReddy figured out it's not a good way to get more fuel to the chambers.

I'll be using those for methanol injection until I finish up adding direct port meth injection to my spare intake manifold (not anytime soon).

EDIT: for notes, the actual nozzle threads on the cold pipe are only about 1/4" so regular nozzles should work.

And thanks for all the comments.

I love the color too. I was considering selling this one and buying one that didn't need body and paint (probably save a few bucks that way) but every other car out there is red, white, or black. I have only seen one other nautical blue MR2 in my area.

Thanks Sammy. I've got a cheap car cover that I'll use for right now. In about a month, I'll have a two car garage and it's going to live in there.
