Headlights

Looking to replace my 1991 Turbo stock headlights. I found these online,

however, I am having a hard time imagining what they would look like on my car. Anybody have these lights or something similar? If so please post some pics so I can get an idea.

Also, I found this pic online...wanted to know if this is the thing -

Hella H4 Headlight Conversion

Thanks in advance

You want Autopal H4 conversion. Go here: http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Autopal-...__W0QQ_armrsZ1 and search for "mr2". Do not buy the diamond lights, buy the ones titled "86-95 TOYOTA MR2 EURO 200mm H4 H6054 HEADLIGHTS KIT".

They're a good price and are generally regarded as the best budget H4 conversion. Sorry, no pics... it looks like a regular headlight. The thing that makes a visual difference is the bulbs.

Thanks for the replies. Two quick question: if I purchase a set of projector headlights with super white H4 bulbs, do I lose any functionality? Also, is it safe for the car in terms of heat generated? In other words do I have to park the car with the lights in the up position to cool off overnight?

Thanks for the help.

If you want "projectors".... you will probably want something like this... http://norcalmr2.com/pegasus/ .... or if you have a little more of a budget you could go with the Rev6 low-rise kit.

The link Sammy provided is a good source for a standard H4 conversion. You shouldn't have to worry about any heat problems. TONS of MR2 owners are running H4 conversions (many with HID's).... and I've never heard of any problems with the lamps being too hot.
