What exactly happened to the intake pipe?

well i fixed it for the time being, i got a cuppler for the pipe ( the pipe had tape on it when i bought it but didnt know till the problem came up ) so now i need to look for a new or used intake pipe for the turbo.
what happened was the MAF had a wire that broke off when my aunt hit a speed bump to fast ( and my Mr Deuce is lowered

stupid aunt...) so i rewired the MAF and the car is turning over and idling nicely now but when i drive it tends to want to cut off.
i dont want to pay $100 for the new pipe from toyota yet and i have only found 1 MR2 in a junk yard so far, if anyone knows where there is a good source of MR2s in a junk yard around Los Angeles it would help alot.
