I have a 91; Mr2 N/a 2.2L. I just won an auction on ebay for an MR2 head and I was thinking of porting and polishing it but the guy told me it came off his MR2 with a blown engine and he said it will need new internals. Should I buy this head or do any of you guyz no how much it is to replace all the internals????

Hey man I got a 91 2.2 that I'm about to drop a 3SGTE in my bud ows www.pyrracing.com and ported and polished my head milled it almost to the indicator then I got the full valve job recut seats the whole deal.. since I'm rippin the motor out anyways if your interested in the head make me an offer.. The port and polish made a noticible difference from about 4000RPM up it pulls quite a bit harder now, but I lost a tiny bit below 4000RPM, I think it would pull all the way to 8k if the cams were reground.. its only had about 500miles put on it since the head was rebuilt, then my tranny let go so its been sittin since waitin for a transplant. well let me know ..

Yeah its ported and polished already , I got a couple pics but they are not that great I'll send em to ya this afternoon.. Lemme know.
