turbo question

my stock c-26 turbo has a bad seal and the car smokes now when at idle i dont drive it rite now and im wondering if a t04b will mount onto the stock exhaust manifold because instead of rebuilding the turbo im thinking of just bolting on the t04.. do u think i will be able to run 10 psi from the t04 with out the boost cut kicking in or do i have to buy a boost and fuel cut defencer ?

a t04 is a pretty big turbo...do u mean t3/t4???....any how...both turbos will only mount onto ur stock manifold with an adapter plate...boost cut is 12psi....if ur looking for a direct replacement turbo...try to get ur hands on a ct-20b...

ask urself how much power u wanna make....and how much u are willing to spend/budget before u buy anything...think long term so that u do things right the first time n not spend money on stuff that is not needed.....

iight im not buying anything really i have the two t04b's in my garage off of my dads old bmw320 that he had boosted so im thinking instead of rebuilding the c-26.. do you think its a good idea... because i would just run 8-10 psi if i bolt that on and dont run a fuel cut or boost cut defencer..
