Gen1 stalling issue

89 na. I have always had the warm start issue, where it does'nt want to restart after it has ran for a bit. but now it has started dying when it it idles. from a cold start it runs perfect. but if u shut it off and restart it, it runs like crap, the engine stumbles, and it dies. it runs perfectly in cold weather. no issues during the winter months. any ideas?

i removed the egr a couple days ago, i did not seal the hole in the intake as good as i thought. so i had a vacuum leak. should have used a better gasket material. live and learn

when I do this, I generally use stock metal (relatively thin) and then after it's bolted on, use a hammer and tap around the edges to get the metal of the plate to conform to the manifold..

sometimes, if it's salvagable, I will just use a stock egr gasket too.
