MR2 RWD conversion

HI all

Not sure where the best place to post this so ill try here first.
I have recently been given a 3sge engine and am interested in using it in my kitcar, but i am unsure of which gearboxes i can use. At present i have a 4age engine in the car using a T50 box does anyone know if this box fits the 3sge engine and if anyone has any other ideas of boxes

Thanks

Grass

t50 does not fit a G motor... you will need the trans from an altezza.... or you can find a bellhousing to use a W or T series on that motor, but typically those aren't inexpensive....

You can use the bellhousing from an Australian TA or SA Celica and a W58 transmission. I'm sure it also fits other trannies but that's all I know off the top of my head. Also, the 4Y-powered vans are supposed to have a compatible bellhousing (might need slight modification but it'll probably be the easiest available option).

What type of kitcar do you have?
