Supercharger pully...

Anyone know of a compamy that makes smaller supercharger pullies for the 4AGZE? It will be going on an '89 MR2 if that makes any real big difference...

Thanks

What do you mean a smaller supercharger pulley? Are you trying to downtrade the factory boost level or are you trying to get an oversized crank pulley?

The only possible companies I can think of right now are:

HKS
Cucso
Blitz

The only thing is that I know they make oversized crank pulleys for the supercharger. I don't know of a single company which makes a pulley below 8psi (stock boost level)

I'm running on 10psi at the moment off a HKS crank pulley with the ABV mod. There really isn't much of a difference (at least I don't think so.)

AE86lover: For smaller supercharger pulleys you might want to check: www.speedchaser.net they make 95mm & 105mm pulleys but they are in the U.S. I am also looking at buying a smaller pulley. Does Vampire Perfomance sells smaller SC pulleys and how much? Pls. let me know, if I can get it cheaper here and dont have to pay duties it will be nice, thanks...

for sc not crank

They want to change the sc pulley for a smaller on, just like on the jspec engine.
It is not the same as having a biger pulley at the crank.

my crank jspec pulley is the same as one from usspec engine, but my sc pulley is smaller so I have 10 psi instead of 8. When I will add my bigger crank pulley I should reach 15-16psi.

Just a word of caution. I have *heard* that the teflon tips wear pretty fast (like gone in a month) when upping the rpms enough to get anything over over 10 PSI. I have no actual experience as I am only running 8 psi with 4age stock 10:1 pistons.

Gearing - Make the crank pulley larger, the blower pulley will go faster, or reduce the blower pulley size, and it can do more rpm's per revolution of the crank pulley therefore going faster

Think about how the gearing works on a Bike...

Not to worry about until 15 psi for the tefflon coating.

Over that, must take care.
