If you do get power steering for your MR2, it would defeat the entire purpose of the MR2. The reason why there's no power steering was to eliminate the unnecessary weight created by the power steering rack.

But to answer your question simply, adding power steering is going to cost quite a bit and as for parts, ask your local Toyota dealer. :p

EW!

I can't stand the power steering. When I drive my Supra it feels like I'm gonna go off of the road.

power steering is awsome for dragging, but im more into drifting and its sooo damn hard without power steering. i kno mr2's arent great for drifting but its possible to drift them. thats why i really want power steering. and ay man just be happy that u have a supra.. haha.

my old car didnt have power steering, and the breaks were pretty old. so when i drove my mom's new car, i kept turning the wheel really fast on accident b/c ive been driving my car so much.

bottom line is, dont get the power steering.

I love no power steering, it was hard to get used to at 1st, but you only really feel it when you're going slow

Drifting a MR2? Thats kinda strange? It would probably be cheaper to get a 240sx with an SR20DET, now that is a drift car. I don't know why you would want a mid-engine car to drift, seems like that kind of defeats the purpose of having the engine there.

The closest I have ever gotten to drifting is when I get tail happy in the rain around freeway onramps. They are of course empty.
