Lower control arm replace

I noticed my rear tires are wearing on the insides and I took the passenger rear tire off to see how I have to adjust the alignment when I noticed the lower control arm is bent. I found the factory replacement part but I also found some after market parts. I don't know if the after market part is the one I need or not because there are 3 different control arms. I was wondering if someone could look at this and verify it.

ok here is the factory part part # 7

You didn't specify what year/gen your MR2 is.
I'm going to assume it's a Spyder.
The aftermarket ones are adjustable and probably thicker, stronger.
So it just depends what you're gonna do with the car and how much you want to spend.

Gen1 Howdy one wing..

Your looking at a double upgraded lower arm replacement for your multi-link suspension, are you sure you need this replacement piece with the extra features?

If your wanting to play with your car's suspension and make adjustments every now and then go for the upgrade.

If your not the racing type and won't be further modifying your car and just want a dependable regular ol rear suspension, I'd recommend the OEM without the fancy do-dads.

BTW my 1st generation model (87-89 only) came with those heim-type revolving end pieces on my suspension arms and I pitched them. Too much extra play and movement. Personally I want a stiff suspension, no flexing.

And yes, I read the "Advertiser Claims".
