Building a 3s-gte?

I'm thinking of buying my first MR2 in a couple of yrs when I get back from Alaska. If I do decide to buy one I would like to build the JDM motor ahead of time. What is the best way to build this motor for 400+ whp, including all the accesories i.e. guages, computers, timers, etc. Also please include tranny setups, suspension and the like for the final build of the car. Thanks in advance.

what a good answer
couldnt you give him a real answer? i mean, yeah you need money for everything...

to make 400rwhp out of a jdm 3sgte you simply need to do a few mods... bigger turbo, bigger injectors, intercooler, fuel pump, ignition control, air/fuel control, boost control, (engine management?), pistons, cams, valves, clutch, flywheel... etc... the list goes on bro. but the thing is... the sky is the limit when it comes to the 3sgte. check out the mr2 forums as www.board.mr2faq.com they have some guys with NASTY numbers over there.

GT-30 kit....built motor with forged pistons and rods...cams/cam gears...FULL EMS (stand alone)....titanium valves/retainers...upgraded IC or water injection....adjustable fuel pressure regulator...aftermarket fuel pump....supra injectors (or similar sized 550 ccs or bigger)...top feed fuel rail or modified stock one...alum intake manifold....stock LSD or equivalent after market one....twin disk clutch....a compentent tuner...

that should get u towards 400rwhp.....and all that equals to alot of money....hence my first post......

and also a gen II motor will do just fine.....no need for gen III....
