Oil Pressure Sensor From U.S. Spec MR2 to JDM Celica

Sup TN, Got a problem. I recently bought a jdm 3sgte to replace my old crusty one and this one happen to be the celica version. Over the course of the past 2 weeks ive changed over all of the little crap like water necks and mounts and the small stuff that was different from the 2 cars. Now all of the sensors and lines checked out o.k. except for the oil pressure sensor now, the my mr2 motor had the sensor tapped into the oil pan but on the new motor there is nothing there. So I was thinking that maybe it was in a different location? If so where? Also car starts and runs like a champ, but as soon as I press the gas it boggs out like theres no fuel, and when you let go it goes right back to perfect idle???? Just wondering if the sensor had anything to do with it . Thanks for any reply and sorry such a long story just complexed.
