I've been wanting to get some new wheels for my 89 White S/C & I just special ordered some of these O.Z. wheels in white 16 x 7 from TireRack. They are very light at 13 lbs and I love the white wheels I have now but they are showing their age. I only drive my MR2 in nice weather now so these should stay looking good! I will still be running my Yokohama 205/45R16 tires that stick like glue!

I got a call from Tire Rack and they told me that the wheels need to be made in Italy and than shipped to them, it would be 6-8 weeks! I said "no worries" and to make it so! After all, it is the rainy season and my MR2 doesn't see bad weather any more.
I'll still post pics after I get them but it will be in Feb!

try some of the Eagle 1 Keep Clean wheels. i liked the Michelin stuff better, but can't find it anywhere anymore. BTW those wheels are badarse! i brought my MSW (O.Z.) wheels for my Tercel when i was in Italy. good stuff!

1/2 a tank of V-Power gas+ 1/2 tankful of fuel with Techroline= V-Tec gas??? Speed and grip walk a very thin line of balance. If a car feels like it's on rails, then you're probably not going fast enough.
Wheels arrived today, only took 2 days when TireRack said 3 days! I'll post pictures after they are installed on Monday. I can't do it tomorrow.

Great choice in wheels! You could have refinished your old set of wheels to give them a fresh look.
True, but these are 7 pounds lighter per wheel & I like that they use only 4 lug holes vs the 8 on my old wheels. I'm thinking about refinishing them anyway & using them on my 94 Corolla.

Just an update for everyone, the weight difference is so noticeable! The car rides so much better, accelerates faster & brakes quicker. It's really amazing what a decrease of 7 lbs per wheel can make!

I know what you're saying about only driving the mr2 in nice weather; I bought mine almost 6 years ago, and neither the previous owner or myself drove it in winter, I'm not sure about the person before him. I have only driven my mr2 a few times in the rain!
