Should I buy?

Hey...

I need some help deciding. I found a 91 mr2 n/a right around the corner of my house for 6,900 with 125k on the engine. It's very clean but I still need to take a closer look to make sure it runs fine.

My questions are, given it runs fine with no problems, how long with this car last before problems start up?

Would I still be able to survive the Maryland weather of rain, snow, and ice during winter with the RWD?

Is there anything I should be on the look out for while I take a closer look at it?

Most importantly, in your opinion, should I buy it?

That's expensive. You could get a nice turbo for that price (or less).

As long as you drive responsibly, you'll be fine in any weather.

I would pass or at least offer a much lower amount.

Ghosty's right. Thats too high for a '91 N/A..You could find a turbo for about or less than that.
The MR2 does OK in most weather except ice! You have to be ubber careful or the ass end will come around.
If they won't sell it for 3K or below I'd Pass

specially on the east coast with the weather and salt they put on the roads in the winter. I would look over the car for rust and corrosion. also, if they have nothing to hide, a carfax is inexpensive to provide for you.

Like the others have said, too much. I got my 2 for 7,000 and its a turbo with k/n intake, magnaflow exhaust, enkei wheels, MBC and kw coilovers, and just 97,000 kilometres (less than 60,000miles)

yea that is rediculously high. Must be a dealer thinking they can get that much. I remember i dealer around here trying to sell an N/A hardtop, auto with over 100k for 6k. I laughed at him
