common problems to look for...

I've got a del sol right now and there is a guy that wants to trade me his mr2 turbo.... One cyl. has less pres. then the others... what could have caused that? It's a turbo model and what other "common" problems do mr2's have? thanks

low compression on 1 cylinder is not good. bad rings maybe but whatever the reason you'll still have to open her up. major problem that'll require major work. other "common" probs would be the least of your worries with that car. dont get duped, keep your del slow.

Well I'm pretty sure its the rings.... and i know i'm gonna have to rebuild it... but I can get a long block for pretty cheap... So i was just going to swap out the blocks for now.... and rebuild that one.... build it better....
