Need help with 89 SC Rebuild kit

Hello all.. I am so desperately (and with no succss) trying to find a rebuild kit for the Supercharger in my 89. . It is completely stock.. with an oversized pulley for upped boost.

I believe the bearing and the clutch burned out and i need to replace them.

The dealer only carries a Gasket kit. They said i can order a new one from them.. At the tune of $3,200.00 smackeroos. so if anyone can direct me in ANY direction i would so appreciate it. The car is dead in the water.

Thanks in advance for any info..

try Aaron Willis @ Lithia Toyota. his prices are probably better than what you might be getting at your local Toyota stealership. LOL

If you are talking about the actual supercharger (SC-12), the supercharger itself is not even made any more, at least according to my dealership, nor can they get parts like the pulley, clutch, or stator. However, there is a company that sells rebuilt sc-12's for around $750 ($150 less if you send them a core). I have been meaning to contact them to see if they supply new clutches with them, which I would think that they would have to do, but you never know.
The page for them is as follows: http://www.invasionautoproducts.com/...sc-toymr2.html
