so, what kind of projects do you guys have going-on??? i know everyone is getting ready to get their cars out there this summer and all!

1/2 a tank of V-Power gas+ 1/2 tankful of fuel with Techroline= V-Tec gas??? Speed and grip walk a very thin line of balance. If a car feels like it's on rails, then you're probably not going fast enough.
I just got my rebuilt/upgraded head on yesterday. I'll be happy just to get it put back together.I'm excited and curious to hot the car is gonna run with the new valve train.
Then to either replace the front bumper or replace/fix front air dam. I've smacked several varmints and road kill over the past year.
I will also be adding an oil temp gauge, ammeter and volt meter. Possibly a water temp gauge and exhaust temp gauge.
You?
I just ordered new door hinges for my sagging drivers door. I would also like to remove & repaint the front air damn & side skirts & than cover them with 3M Clear Bra material before I re-install them. I would also like to replace the vacuum lines with new silicone lines.

if/when you do that, man, use some thick wall silicone hose. one of the seriously old school companies is RS Akimoto. they still make the thick walled hose!

i have assembled an interesting brake setup. i now have vented rear discs on my MkI SC!!! my fronts are from an ST16x Celica and i won't discuss the rears yet as i would like to test them, but it's 'interesting' to say the least.
i have redone my suspension including a set of headache-producing RCAs that i machined. i also finally got a set of Illuminas and found a set of the grey ST springs. i powdercoated my strut housings and am going tohave to re-do the fronts after i modify them.
i am supposedly going to be trading an autotragic trans for a LSD E51 and so i will be pairing that up with the 3 puck (sprung) TRD clutch/PP and my two step (damn i miss when F1 had launch control!!!). should launch like crazy when i need it to!
i re-engineered my intake plumbing and manifold. this was a lot of work!!! i still have to build my hard pipes (charge pipes) and i want to re-do my SC outlet due to some unforseen issues with the racegate that i am using. and i have to find the shim spacers for the big pulley/idler that i will be using!
last part of my build-up is my engine management. i am still trying to finish the integration adapter. after everything, it's off to the dyno!!!
oh! and i have a head to massage/build after all is said and done!

Me engine is totally stripped and ready for removal. I'm going for something close to 400 wheel HP by the time It's all assembled! Something I've always wanted to do with this sweet looking car the past 14 years of ownership! It's now or never, do or die!

If you're going CT27, you will not be able to achieve 400rwhp. That turbo just isn't capable of those numbers. Probably 300-310rwhp tops. Anything beyond is out of that turbo's efficiency island and the turbine becomes a bottle neck in the exhaust flow.
A GT30R would be more like it.
Some pics of your build and progress would be cool too.
Hey Tony, some pics of your build and progress would be awsome!
Sounds very interesting and a lot of work.
i will. however, i am waiting on a cable to get the data from the hard drive of the machine i just lost....

I'm getting a 50 trim td06, Blitz ECU, and Gen III 540 injectors in a couple weeks. Gonna install all that along with my Greddy (read ebay) I/C and fan & shroud from TwosRUs. Also gonna re-install the brass shifter bushings that apparently weren't swapped over with my engine/tranny. Gonna shoot for 325ish at the wheels. Should be fun!
I've recently installed a MOMO wheel, TwosRUs shifter surround and gas charged engine lid prop rod, Tein rear strut bar and Greddy catch can. Going to clean up the engine bay while I'm at it, since it's pretty filthy.
But most of the next month or so is going to be spent getting my totalled DD back on the road. Thank God my dad is awesome at body work.

I did read that. 400 is a pipe dream. I'll get all I can out of the ct27. Don't want to move to a different turbo just yet.
But I will make it easily removable if possible.

Reason: None
Been getting all my pertinent NA parts out of the attic and stripping the intake off the SC engine to pull it straight up instead of lowering it like I did the last time.
Been getting some really interesting responses to my SC to NA conversion.
Should be very challenging as I want to use the SC AC compressor although I have both SC and NA AC Ampiflyers.

Nope! Not going to get close to 400WHP maybe 350 flywheel! I don't want to get that far away from stock.
i'm really not a HP whore. i really just enjoy the drive. sure, driving a high HP car near or at 10/10ths is awesome, but i guess i'm not the 'keeping up with the Joneses' kind of guy.
something to remember: Toyota vehicles are uber reliable, but even at that, when one modifies past a certain point, that noteworthy reliability is sometimes lost.
i really need to post some pics soon!
