i know that MR2s rarely break down, but when they do, how easy is it to get replacement parts and fix it? also how cheap are they to repair? my friend says it is more expensive to find replacement parts for MR2s and the repair costs are more. finally, how easy is it to do oil changes yourself? i have all the tools to do oil changes on normal front engine cars, but how does having the engine in the back make it different?

What you hear is all fiction. MR2s are just like any other car except one who doesn't know how to work on the engine being in the rear will charge you more, that's all.
