Buying an Mr2

I am looking at a 91 MR2 with 125k. it is a non-turbo automatic in good condition. They are asking 2800, they have settled on 2500 and are not going any lower. I think this is a pretty good deal but i need some advice. Is it worth it?? How much should i pay?

What's wrong with an auto MR2? He can get a "REAL CARBON FIBER SHORT THROW SHIFTER" and be cool like you. There's nothing wrong with his choice of car. If that's the car he wants I say go for it.

sounds like a good deal to me for only $2500 if all he wants is something sporty with great handling so he doesn't spill the cappucino in his right hand when taking on the bends

nothing wrong with automatics at all, but if you want superb performance, obviously. manual. besides who doesn't like to shift, specially with a cf short throw shifter haha?
