AW11 & SW20 axle question

has anyone ever taken an sw20 NA axle and put it into an aw11 NA axle carrier? does it fit or not?

i did some research and found that they are both 26 splines, but i do not know the outer diameter.

many thanks!

you'll get all the answers to your questions over there. most mr2 people don't spend most of their time in this forum. i also own an sw20 btw.

i hang around in this forum because i own several other toyotas. lol!

i own an aw11 (amongst other cars), and have been a member of mr2oc for a long time.

in all honesty, i've tried asking/searching for answers there in the past with very little luck. so, i thought that i would be INSANE and give another mr2 area a shot to see if someone might possibly have this answer.

btw - i did check on Mr2oc and yes, the answer was there. you were right.

but, that still doesn't detract from the fact that i do have a bone specific members of the local Mr2 community.
