i just cant seem to get it to idle properly, so ive already checked the coolant level and its fine.... im not quite sure what could be the issue.... when i unplug the idle control valve it doesnt make any difference.. it still does the idle hunter bit, fluctuating between 1000-1500 rpm, is there anything i can check, ive already waited twice for it to get to operating temp to see if it levels out but no luck
was coolant serviced recently? coolant level and coolant properly bled are two different things. one must bleed the coolant as per specifications in BGB. also, is your TPS properly adjusted?

i have no idea on either of those things, ive only owned the car for 3 days now, it did sit for a couple years before i got it,
the TPS still has the yellow factory stuff on the screws so i dont think it was tampered with,, also to "propely" bleed the coolant system, does it have something to do with the one screw on the thermostat hosing?
yes, there is a specific set of directions for bleeding coolant.

Well i solved the idle hunting problem, now I'm left with it idleing at 1200 rpm at operating temp, the idle screw is all the way in, and I checked the tps and it's fine
ok, remove the throttlebody and soak it! and scrub it! there are lots of nooks and crannies that get clogged-up with crud.

reset the ecu (hard power-down) by disconnecting the battery terminals. back idle set screw all the way out. hook-up battery leads and start vehicle. adjust the idle screw.
try that.

I'm wonderin' whether the PO tinkered with the idle stop screw. It's the adjuster with locknut on the lever where the throttle wire is. If the PO dicked around with it you'll have to rest the TPS per the BGB technique. It's a easy procedure. Do you know how to acces the BGB via Internet?
You stated that the TPS still has the OEM paint on the adjuster screws so odds are it hasn't been moved.
BGB? That's was a whole other language to me, well I've tried everything ttgeek has suggested and nothing, it's idleing at 1400-1500, 14 is the lowest it gets.... If I drive it, shut it off and re-start it it will idle at 1000, but it will go back up to 1400.... I have no idea wtf is wrong, all vac hoses are hooked up can't find a vacuum leak, tps is good,,, afm isn't sticking
