A couple of Questions...Need Info

alright i have acouple of simple questions that i need to help me out on somethings...

I heard of people using a Supra Mass flow sensor?Does it help?
Car feels like it has no top end?Any suggestions besides NOS?
What times should I expect...(JDM swap and boosting 13lbs on stock everything)?
The most boost on stock turbo and stock motor can handle?

Just starting out so any input would be very helpful...peace

with jdm swap.....should still be in mid 13s or better depending on ur driving skills...stock turbo should hold 16psi....if ur looking for better top end a bigger turbo is a must.....stock ct-26 or ct-20b will not make enough power....well under 300rwhp with proper supporting mods....

The stock engine can handle lots of boost (at least 22 psi) form the proper turbo.
The OEM turbo really shouldn't be run voer 15 psi ... it starts creating more heat than power and just increases your chances of detonation. Above 15psi you are way out of it's "Efficiency range".

There is no way to get a Supra MAF to work on our cars that I am aware of.

JDM ECU will have more agressive timing maps....higher boost level...but keep in mind....its programmed for 100 octane gas....i don't even think its plug and play..u would prolly have to rewire the car to make it work in USDM cars.....

what are your power goals??....think of how fast u want to go...and how much ur willing to spend....and start from there so u don't spend money on things u don't really need....do it right the first time.....

I want to be able to run high 12's consistantly...I want to be able to do it on street tires and stock turbo...is that too much to ask out of a stock motor boosting 16lbs with only intake, exhaust, downpipe and tuned with an AEM EMS?...oh yea and a top mount intercooler (cooled by 2 10 inch spal fans and an icebag)

It's too much to ask out of the stock turbo.
12s are unlikely with the CT26 ... even more unlikely on street tires.

The stock engine can run solid 11s all day if set up properly.

12 sec daily driver isn't out of the question..thats what i would consider my car as....but like J&H says...unlikely on stock turbo...will need upgraded turbo and proper supporting mods....
