Oil Pstion Coolers are the same thing as oil sprayers. They spray oil under the piston in order to cool the piston as well as the combustion chamber. Does that answer your question enough or would you like to know more?

You guys have never heard of them? I'm a little surprised.

As Greddy mentioned their purpose is to direct oil to the bottoms of the pistons to help cool them and prevent detonation and the resulting damage. They're not all that fancy, just little nozzles placed in the path of pressurized oil.

anyone here ever heard of Icy Water Spray being used on an MR2 and what were the results in HP?
it's a ice water spray that sprays on the intercooler, thus cooling it down and giving you more horsepower. thats good mainly when you're in town. each time you stop at a light, the air stops cooling the top mount IC and it heats up, thus you have less horsepower cause the air is hotter thus less dense.

spraying water on the IC allows it to cool down much faster...in most cases....the IC will heat soak after two or three hard runs n needs to cool down to be effecient again...

I don't think that your gonna see a lot of HP change from an IC sprayer unless you live in a really hot place. I think that you would be better off getting a water injectoin kit instead. It helps cool off the combustion chamber and it cleans. At the same time it also acts as an octane booster some what. It helps in high HP tuning a ton. Does anyone have a H2O injection kit? If you do what do you think of it and who made it?
