Guess What Happened
I was installing my new set of ST Front and Rear Sway Bars. The Front was a peice of cake. Then we got to the rear and every was smooth. When you install the rear sway bar you have to lower the rear sub frame. So all you have to do is losen the rear sub frame bolts to lower it. So we got the passenger side subframe bolts losened (can't spell) then we got to the drivers side rear sub frame bolt and we couldn't losen it at all then all the sudden that bolt just snaps! So then we basically lowered the sub frame a little more so we could pull the stud out so we are pulling the stud out and then we notice the housing that the bolt screws up into is coming out with it! I was like what the!? So we decided since my car is my daily driver that we just go forth and pull it out and then get a new housing and a new bolt and fix it. We have a plan how to fix so it should go well. So that basically ruined our weekend. The reason why it pulled out the housing is because that bolt was all rusted to the housing. So hopefully our plan works for fixing it. So I thought I should share that with my buddies at MR2OC.COM
