If you have the 5SFE, the cat bolts right onto the exahuast manifold.

Wouldn't a universal high-flow cat work though? Just about any muffler shop carries them.

With the Cat missing, I highly doubt it. But I do wish you luck and if you can figure it out, there are a whole lot of people in here that will be knocking on your door.

You won't pass emissions without a cat. Go to EBay and buy a small high flow cat.
and have it welded in. You may have to change some piping.
Or if you have the stock exhaust sytem, put it back on. But as old as the cat may be, it may not pass either.

I can see the English language is really failing in this thread.....

I had the same problem when I built my MK1.5 MR2 a few years ago when MA had emissions. I bought a Magnaflow 3-Way/Hi-Flow cat from summit racing. They go for about $50-$60. You could probably have it welded in for another $50.

The stock one won't bolt up to the header you have, so I'm not sure why you're going that route.

Buy a Magnaflow OBDII cat (or another brand if you can find one cheaper).

Magnaflow rear OBDII cat for $97 NEW Magnaflow rear OBDII cat for $97 NEW

Part # listing for converters at Magnaflow

The front cat they list isn't the main cat like it should be (listed as a pre-cat), so just buy the rear one. You'll pass with flying colors if nothing else is wrong with your engine.

Summit Racing has cats in the $50.00 range.
They may be enough to get you passed.
