Need help

Hey guys im new to the form and i just bought an 91 mr2 N/A im having a little problem with it and was wondering if u guys can help When i step on the gas it feel like it doesnt want to pull it seem like something is lagging it what could be the problem? i know i dont have a blown head gasket cuz i see no white smoke or slug on the cap of the coolant. if u guys know it be helpful thanks =]

I would start with the ignition system. Spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Then check ignition timing.
Also look for any vacuum leaks.

I agree, if I would add anything to it I would change the fuel filter as well.
