Gen 4 Caldina GT4 3SGTE in a Sw20?

Im considering it since i blew my current, gen 2 3sgte. I was thinking about the Gen 3 mr2 3sgte, but it is at the exact same price as the caldina motor. i was just wondering if i get the the caldina motor (its the complete front cut). what could i use from my setup already, i mean. what would need changing/fabricating ? i am not doing the work my self, but i just want to know what extent would the mechs have to go to make it work. So i know im getting a good deal.

Would be appreciated if someone has done a similiar swap as in from a 4wd 3sgte to Mr2.

thank you

(p.s. will the car be much faster since the engine is packing around 50 more horses?)

The caldina transmission won't work, you'll need to use your existing transmission. You will need a new intercooler "coldpipe" made, because the throttle body is in a sidefeed location. The motor will bolt right in. It will require extensive custom wiring. It can be done, but it's not the easiest swap.

And keep in mind that the Turbo and down pipe are all one unit. Making it it very hard to put new turbo's on that motor.
