should i buy this mr2?

found an 91 mr2 turbo with 112,000 miles
mostly stock; intake and suspension mods
also says "upgraded rebuild turbo from Turbonetics".. gotta check more on that

my question is, is it worth spending the money to buy a car with 112000 miles? how durable is the 3sgte, and how long can i expect to have the car without any internal wear issues?

i might look at the car soon, what kinds of things should i look out for to make sure the engine/turbo is in good condition?

what is the asking price of the car??....how is the body condition??......engine durabilty and reliability depends on how the previous owner(s) maintained the car.....

looking at 6500, and judging from the picture the body condition looks pretty good.. i want to go look at it in person asap..claims engine is all stock and regular maintenance performed, also got new brakes

pics can be decieving.....get a compression and leak down test performed on the car by a mechanic u trust to determine health of motor....look for any visible oil leaks around the head and turbo.....ask the owner if he had any problems with t-roofs leaking....

looks like that deal wont be going down, it was a nice car.. real nice, checked it out today and i would have definitely taken it

problem was that the guy had already made a deal with other guys and didnt even tell me until those guys showed up..

i was very upset about the situation.. to say the very least..

just to keep in mind i bought my mr2 off ebay for 500 trailered it back and it will prob be running in a week or so...if you have the ability to do it as a project i would suggest it...lots of fun/frustration
