Supercharger + manual tranny question

Hi MR2 guys.... Previa owner here. I am working on a project that I need some help with and ideas about.
I will be putting a manual tranny in a supercharged Previa. Toyota didn't make this combo. They just made an Automatic in the S/C version.

SO, my question is, since they did the S/C manual tranny in the MR2, when does the S/C clutch engage? In the auto previa, it is when it is put into "Drive".

I thought about hooking up a relay to engage it when the engine is on and just let it run all the time.... Good idea, Bad idea, or is there another way...

all ideas will be appriciated.....

Would like to hear more on your manual tranny swap bro.

I've been a 1.6L SC owner for 21 years and like to talk technical but don't get to this Forum much.
