help installing the msd 6a

so i bought an msd 6a and dont know how to install this,
i know i dont need the green and violet plug,
so the big red and big black to the battery,
the small red to ignition, where exactly do i hook this up to the relay on the engine compartment??,
also the white cable goes where the white cable is at, at the plug on the distributor???
and im not using the blaster so i guess the orange and small black cable is needed

Is there a part number on your unit? I mean the MSD unit!

Like maybe a 4 digit number? Didn't it come with instructions?

nah i bought on the street but ill look at it and tell you in a few mins, i really want to hook this up, it should have a like 6200 or something if thats what your talking bout

RED: Ignition Switch
WHITE: Distributor
BLACK: Coil negative
ORANGE: Coil positive
GREY: Tach output
HEAVY RED: Battery positive
HEAVY BLACK: Battery negative

sorry bought this dumb question, so the white cable goes to the white in the distributor, correct? im a noob when it comes to this type of stuff so

Is your car a 93 Corolla as in your link? This pic looks like a Celica Supra. Do you have 4-cylinder or V-6?

That would be my guess but I'm not looking at a diagram so I'm not really sure what color your distributor wires are. Do you have a white wire?

Someone else here will probably have to answer this question because I'm not sure about which wire to hook it to on a Toyota.

oh wait... do you have 3 wires from your distributor? White, Black, & Red? If so, YES the white MSD wire goes to that white dist wire.

Crankshaft Position signal goes through the red dist wire.
RPM Signal goes through the white dist wire.

But I'd wait for someone else here to confirm all this before you try it. The last thing you want to do is fry something.

yeah true, i was thinking bout this it kind of makes sense but i dont wanna mess something up, i just need to know where too put the white wire at, and yeah i have those same 3 cables u mention

I think the MR2 turbo has 4 wires to the dizzy.
