I am in the market for a new car. I am thinking of the older MR2 Turbo. What are the years for the different body styles? I think I the one I am interested is the Mk. 2 but I am not sure. Is the MR2 turbo reliable? Anything I should look for while I look for an mr2? What is the stock 1/4 mile time like for a MR2? Sorry for the newbie questions. Thanks in advance.

ur best source of info....is www.mr2.com

stock 1/4mile would prolly be around high 14s.....toyota equals reliable...as long as the car was well maintained by the owner...keep in mind tha most mr2s are well over a decade old so u will have to replace parts as needed.....

Im 6' 1" and big... in the MKII i fit very nice, just had to get small sparco pedals because my size 12 feet keep hitting the gas when I'd push the brake pedal down and my foot was too far to the right.
