Boost Guage

All right.... so my engine is all swapped and stuff.... now I need a boost guage... I stole one out of my friends ex-turbo'd car... and need to know how to hook it up.

I would imagine that it hooks from the intake manifold to the turbo guage, but what do I use? A vacuum hose?... and where do I find one.

Should I do this myself or take it in?

Do it yourself. Remove vacuum hose from turbo pressure sensor and hook that straight to your boost gauge. No need to Tee anywhere unless you still want fuel cut.

If its mechanical, all it should need is a vacuum line tied in to an appropriate source.

Where can I pickup a vaccum line? Just an auto parts store?

Yes sir. Usually its the same as windshield washer hoses.

Not 1. I think its 2nd picture. Your 2nd picture is too blurry. Its the hose off your intake manifold.

The second pic is right below the throttle line.

EDIT: I just checked in my BGB... and it's shows them both. Does this mean I can use either?

EDIT #2: Wait... it's shows picture #2 heading into the cab. So I assume that I would use this one.

Can someone confirm #2?

#2 looks like the right "area".

Mine is tapped off the hose above it.

^? I don't need a FCD. But I am assuming that you mean that line you plug is the one you tap the gauge into?

Yea, connect the boost gauge to the hose that connects between the intake manifold and the pressure sensor.
