Turbo Engine Lid ?

Did all of the turbo's come with the raised vents on the engine lid? This guy that works at the BMW dealership right by my work has this White MR2.... but it doesn't have raised vents. I know for a fact that it's a turbo cause I have heard the thing blow off several times.... but he has the standard hood. This makes me wonder if he swapped.... which also makes me wonder if it is a early model w/ the 94+ Tails on it. Which also makes me wonder what else this guy has done to his car.

I talked to him going down the freeway the other day . I was in my supra and said.... "hey... how do you like your car"... and I told him that I had one and we starting talking while driving down the freeway (kinda trafficy). I think this thing is modded pretty heavily sleeper style by the way it sounds. Nice sounding BOV and Exhaust.... nice rims.... t-tops... no body kit.... loooks reallllllly clean.

Yup Yup. Turbos also had stock fog lights and semi body colored molding instead of just plain black. I am assuming the car started off NA then went turbo......or he just has an NA engine lid. I have both lids for my duece.
