smt clutch do I change?

Hi everyone, I just got my 2005 spyder, the smt transmission can you change the clutch? It has 62000 miles on it.

Yes, they can be changed and eventually will have to be.
But at only 62K miles, it shouldn't need one.
Is it giving you problems?

No Problems

No Problems,< I have only drove her for a few miles and put her in storage due to the Snow and salt in Newfoundland. This is the only spyder on this island with this 6 speed. Waited two years to find her and would like to know few things about this tranny other that what I have picked up on the internet. I have the owners manual but not the service manual, any way of locating a service manual ?, thanks

Those trannys are problematic at best.
The 5 speed manual is a much more dependable and durable trans.

I guess I will have to baby her a bit more than normal, Could I switch over to the 5 speed later.
