Rims

I got suckered into looking at rims the other day... and now I'm probably gonna buy some... SOO!!

You think I should go....

17x7 - rear
and
16x7 - front

or should I keep them all the same size. Right now the rears are larger than the fronts... and I think thats how the car should be.... but it's cheaper to go the same size all the way around. I'd rather spend the money and have quality.... but do I really HAVE to offset the sizes?

if ur gonna go 17s....go with 17 x 7 up front.....17 x 9 in rears...215/40/17 front and 245/40/17 in rears....u dont have to run a staggered setup....most ppls prefer to do so because it allows them to run a wider tire in the rear and gives u a nice lip in the rear.....

i'm running 16 x7 front...16 x 8's in rear....my ideal set up would be 17 x 7 front...and 18 x 9 in rears.....and make those a set of mercury silver Volk GTNs sitting on Toyo T1S....

Actually I am running what ishcoleobo is proposiing on both of my cars.

17X7 rear and 16x7 front.
I run a 235 rear tire and a 215 front.

I have had many MR2s in the past with 17s all around and I do not like the way the 17" front rim looks. They always make the car look tall in the front.

16x7 f 205-45
16x7 r 225-45

In my opinion, this is the best setup for an MKII NA. I've run 15x7 f and r 205's and hated it. Did the same thing with 16's for a while too. Wish I could get 235's for the rear but no one makes 235's for the 16's. 17 and 16 setup aint bad either just extra $$$.

YUP YUP GOLD VOLKS GTNs 17 x 7 and 18 x 9. But it's SO BIG I have to be careful not to run over pot holes. I did it once and had to pay 200 bucks to knock out the dent on the front right because it kept rubbing against the shock.

First of all. TN has been down for the last couple days when i tried to log on so i'm glad that it's back and running. YAY......

The car is a 91 but i had mods to 95 specs. Repainted skirts and bottom front lip molding.

rims?

if i go 17.5 in the front and rear and put 215/40/17 up front and 235/40/17 in the rear would there be a turning issue in the front tires. i dont think so but i just want to make sure.
