Car put down 320 whp and 280 tq last weekend on a dynojet. It's even more fun to drive than I ever expected. I've been having a blast. The car was effectively down since last Feb/March, so I've been making up for lost time.

Here are a few pics, I'm trying to get some dyno vids uploaded to youtube, but haven't gotten to them yet. Let me know what you think!

Car looks good!

I'm suprised the power it made with the stock intake manifold.

Any lump to the idle with the BC cams? After I finish my A2W IC the next thing I am buying is cams; I'm leaning toward BC 272's but I don't know anyone using them

No cam lope at all. I was kinda hoping for some, but it purrs like a kitten. They're straight up, though, since I didn't really want to push the 540s there wasn't much need to mess with them. I might throw some 800s in there sometime down the road and mess with the cams, that might cause a little lope but I don't know for sure. I do know I'm having a heck of a lot of fun with 320 whp, though

Looks real good Andy. I know it's been a long time coming , but well worth the wait.
You may need some vacuum storage for the brakes once you get the cams dialed in.
Congrats!

Thanks Russ! It's been a very long road but I've learned a TON. When I first got this car, I could barely change my own oil. I'm proud to say that with the exception of building the motor and tuning it, almost all the work was done by me with help from my dad and a couple of friends. I've still got a lot to learn, but I'm pretty competent now

Here's a link to my dyno vid, screamer pipe FTW!

Nice! The best part of my mr2 in my opinion is the open dump WG...

Now all you need to do is drop in some bigger injectors and run 20psi of boost!

That'll probably happen eventually. I don't think I'm going to get bored with what it's got anytime soon, but it's hard to argue against the bang for buck aspect of new injectors and a re-tune

The dump tube is awesome! It sounds totally different from inside the car. This thing makes all kinds of awesome noises now
