have mr2 turbo 1999, hks induction kit , turbo boost up to just under 1 bar , any suggestions how to break the 300 bhp barrier

first...u'll need to upgrade the stock turbo...t3/t4 or greddy td06 or gt30.....plus supporting mods...upgraded IC...fuel system (bigger injectors/fuel pump/adjust. fuel pressure regulator)....u can go with "black boxes" (ie. HKS vpc and afr) to control/tune fuel or u can go full EMS.....

^^he means live it the way it is....no modifications...u have a 1999....last yr of production....a collectors item if taken care of.....in north america....in canada....we got them up to 93..in the states up to 95.....

you should be able to get 300 on your stock turbo(should be 20b if its a 99).... jsut raise boost to 17 or 18 psi... im pretty sure they can handle that. full exhaust. and some tuning with a fuel pressure reg and a apexi tuner(cantbelieve i forgot the name of it).
