How do I fix my ears!

Someone brought this up to me the other day. I just got this car and they made a comment about my ears.

I understand what he is talking about, but I don't understand how to fix them.

I don't know exactly what part, but I know it's something with the cloth top!

When the top folds, a loop of material may form in the trailing edge on either side. The corners are supposed to neatly tuck inward and the loops are referred to as "ears".

There should be a strap inside the top (i.e., a "top strap") that pulls the corners in as the top folds, but it often went missing during delivery or top replacement.

Replacement top straps are available from KeyTechniques.net.

Hmm? I had a 2001 Spyder I got rid of in '05.
I can't say I ever noticed that. It certainly wouldn't be an issue.
I do recall there being some straps on the underside. I always wondered what they were for.
That may have been it and why I never noticed having "ears."
Thanks for the clarification.
