Serious smoking and oil leak!

2 things first of all I can crank my car up in the morning (91 MR2 3sgte) and car will run fine till it warms up and then it begins to smoke a little, then when driving for a while and then come to a stop the car smokes like real bad! I think it is the turbo seal on the exhaust side because I would think that valve stem seals would make it smoke all the time even when driving? And I have this slight annoying oil leak that looks like its coming off the back of the block but really could be anywhere, I had the same problem with my other motor but I figured that that was because it had 140,000 miles on it. Let me know if anyone has or had the same problems. Thanks

i have a similar problem too. there's a slight oil leak, not much but enough to drive me nuts trying to find it. looks like it's leaking from the intake manifold side, and not the turbo side..so that's good. I couldn't really see anything b/c it was all wet around the spot the leak was coming from. Maybe i'll try again next weekend.

does anyone have any idea of where it could be...any common problems with Mr2's and oil leaks. or should i just take it to a local shop and pay a grand or so. thanks.

I found out that the most common oil leak on the exhaust side of the motor will come from the oil return line on the turbo, and the cam seals from the intake side.
