taillight question?

this is going to sound pretty lame, but I have a brake light out and was wondering what the best way to remove the lights without breaking the little white clips that hold them on. Or am I way off and there is a completely different way? I just don't want to break the clips...thanks for your help

pull them off

so the little white clips that are poking through the sheetmetal in the trunk behind the carpet just pull off or the lights pull off of them? do I just take the one screw out of the top and then pop the taillights off from the outside? Just don't want to break anything ya know...

They are likely to break with the age on them. Just buy four new ones before you start; they're cheap enough.

Theres two screws on the insides of the taillights, then once those are off, you have to pull up the inside covering in your trunk a little bit where you taillights actually are, and you will see that white thing your talking about. Just push it with a screwdriver ( i tryed w/ my finger and hurt like a bitch) and it comes rite out.
