mr2 shift boot??

i bought a new shift boot for my 1989 mr2, and i put the frame on and everything but when i went to put the frame into the clips the clips all broke off except for one, anybody got any ideas on how i can fix it or put the boot in another way?
i have 2 of the clips, the rest i couldnt find
