Is it worth it?

Hey guys, I'm new to these forums.
Anyways, I have an oppurtunity to buy a 1993 MR2 N/A.
It has 127,023 miles on it, and has a clean title with no known mechanical defects. It's also an automatic.
I've seen pictures of it, and the body looks extremely clean.
This is going to be my daily driver to and from school, but later I plan to do a engine and tranny swap. (Probably next summer)
For now, I don't mind it's auto, a little easier to drive in California traffic.
But anyways, its about 50 miles from where I live, and I'm just wondering if it's worth it.
They're asking 5000 for it btw.

Was there really many changes from '91 to '93 besides the suspension? The tails didn't change til 94 did they? Does it have LSD?

But if he does plan on doing a swap almost all of that will change. I would just try to find a decent turbo in that same price range. Probably a '91.
