Rebuild Complete!

Finished all my MR2 work today & took her out for a drive, dam that car is fun to drive! Here is a recap of what I did the past few weeks.

New TRD JDM lowering springs
New Koni Yellow adjustable struts
New Toyota Strut tops
New KYB strut boots - front & rear
New Twos R Us Sway Bar links - front & rear
New Twos R Us Tie Rods - front & rear
New Twos R Us Ball joints - front & rear
New Ceramic Brake pads - front & rear
New Slotted/Drilled rotors - front & back
Rebuilt rear calipers - powder coated red
New Toyota E-brake cables
Twos R Us Master Brake cylinder brace
Engine lid strut damper
Painted rear sway bar red
Painted front lip
Painted 2nd set of wheels - MR7's
Rebuilt alternator installed
Bled Brakes
Alignment - TRD Stage 1 specs

Than I gave her a good cleaning & enjoyed a brisk 25 mile drive.

It took me a long time to find this one 9 years ago but the wait was worth it!

Awesome car man. I have been looking for a nice 89 sc for the last couple of years and it keeps getting harder to find. I bought a 1988 SC red brand new as my first new car. I regret selling it every day.

I bought a 88 SC new in black. I wanted a white one with blue interior like I have now but it sold that morning. My black SC was stolen after I had it 6 months & they never found it. I was so happy when I found this car over 9 years ago since it was the exact car I wanted when I bought my 88SC.

Was your white MR2 in good shape when you bought it? I'm starting to think that I'll either have to restore one or take a clean automatic and change it back to a 5 speed.

It was very clean when I bought it. It needed a little mechanical work since it wasn't being driven that much but that was all. The body & interior were in excellent condition. I bought it in 2002 with 52k miles on it. It now has 125k since I used it as a DD for many years. Now it just gets driven on nice days.
