TRD JDM Springs

Any one else with these springs? I spent the last many weeks changing out my suspension & brakes. Everything looks & feels good but the TRD JDM springs that I got from Twos R US are lower than my Eibach springs. It just feels too low & I'm thinking of putting my Eibach springs back on with my new Koni yellow struts.

Before I bought them I was told they were about the same drop as the Eibach but stiffer. The stiffer part is nice but the drop is a little too much for my older body.

If anybody wants some lower springs than just PM me!

Eibach Springs......

Unfortunately, the TRD springs have not had their correct height drop listed in ages. You should be able to sell them easily though as they are close to being discontinued, and a lot of guys like that much drop. Eibachs are still the best with only about 3/4" drop, at least thas what the old ones were. The newer ones, within the last year or two are closer to 1" drop.

I put the Eibach springs back on, much better ride & better ride height for me. Seems like a great combination with the Koni yellows. The TRD springs are already sold. I was surprised at the number of PM's I received on them!

ew @ the eibachs..... I had them and they were WAY too soft.... They now sit on the shelf in the garage.

I'm sure the TRD's are stiffer.... and look 10x better... easily

The TRD and Eibach springs have virtually identical spring rates, but the TRD's have much more drop, despite what they are listed at. The ride problem with TRD springs will generally be that they will bottom out on the bump stops far too often unless relatively stiff struts/strut settings are used, or the bump stops are altered.

That way my issue even with my Koni yellows on the stiffest setting. The Eibach have a nice ride & the Koni yellows provide a very nice firm strut for great handling.
