Hey everyone, Im new to the Toyota community. Just got this 1986 Mr2 this morning for 1100 bucks, i ahve always loved the looks of these. Im not to sure what i think about the body kit at first maybe with some work and paint it will grow on me.

This being my first toyota and new project i hope this forum will be a lot of help.

Just posting some pics to see what you guys think about it, and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

One issue it does have which im hoping its not a big one, is its irratic idle from 1000-1500 rpm when its warm. Any tips or if you can point me in the direction of some info that would be great.

The idle problem could be a tps sensor or idle air control valve (iac) for short just pull the iac valve off and give it a good cleaning don't get any of the electrical parts wet and while your at it check the Pcv it a 6 dollar part and if it gets dirty or clogged it will clog the iac as well then the car just won't start
