Hey guys I just joined. I just bought my first mr2.

It's a 1992 gts imported from japan and it's done 90,000km which I think is around 55,000 miles. It has a blitz ecu and dump valve, a hks filter and a jasma stainless exhaust. The previous owner claimed it has 250bhp but I don't have a print out. (I'm going to get it dyno'd). It just passed an mot with no advisories and everything seems to work okay. I love it so far.

I noticed on alot of youtube videos that the centre of the dials has a battery charge guage and mine doesn't, it has a turbo boost guage. Is that because it is an import?

it may be because its not N/a not sure, mines a 87 usdm with volts gauge

The N/A's have the Battery gauge and the Turbo's have the boost gauge(which is worthless).

Yeah I've heard that it was worthless. Apparently it really innacurate especially running higher boost. Standard is 0.7bar and mine is 1.1bar so it's probably out.
